Double Decker Tents, also called 2 story tents, or bi-level tents, are major statement-makers with applications across every industry. For limited spaces, double deckers allow for vertical expansion, literally taking your event to the next level.

A double decker structure tent hardly feels like a tent at all. It is a highly engineered piece of equipment: modular, wind-rated, weather resistant, flame retardant, and made of high-grade aluminum. Side wall options can be standard vinyl, clear vinyl or glass.

The modular nature of our 2 story tents enable superior design flexibility, including mezzanines, terraces and multi-level entry options. Our professional design and installation crews will guide you through the process.

Our wedding took place this last Sunday. My wife chose the venue but I was adamant that we should get a tent. The process was much more difficult than I thought it would be and I was starting to feel overwhelmed. We found out our venue had booked a wedding the day before (also requiring a tent, albeit smaller) so getting a tent set up for us on the day of was going to be difficult... I called numerous tent rental companies that told me the job would be too difficult without at least a few days to get everything set up (considering the size of the tent and what we'd need). One person even told me that they'd typically need 3 days to a week to set up a tent with the size and decorations we needed and was basically unhelpful. Eventually I contacted Nolans/Mccarthys and they were able to accomodate our requests. I worked with Ela and she went above and beyond in making the rental process as easy as possible. She gave great suggestions in regards to decor and assured me that they would get everything finished in time... Including decorating and setting up a custom stage which is typically used in a traditional South Asian wedding. We eventually settled on a 100 foot sail cloth tent with two types of lighting, gold chavari chairs, a dance floor, dessert dishes, and chafing dishes. When we arrived at the venue at 10:30 AM on the day of the wedding we found the tent already set up, chandaliers hung, bistro lighting set up, dance floor set up, and our stage was finished and beautifully decorated. Ask for Ela if you go through Nolans/ Mccarthys; she is warm and kind and made the process so much easier for us. I will definitely go through them again if I ever need a tent!read more

We booked McCarthy's to set up for both, our Wedding & Reception. They were willing to set up our tents 3-4 days in advance, which allowed our wedding planners more time to design the spaces. Furthermore, they ran out of pile wood, which was our choice of flooring for our Wedding; however, they upgraded the flooring to Grey Pickle wood, which is significantly more expensive, without extra charge. They have a VAST collection to pick from to create your very own venue and we greatly appreciated their hard work & generosity. Highly Recommend!read more

The wedding was spectacular! All went well, starting with the weather. McCarthy's wonderful crew set up the tents in the POURING RAIN 2 days in advance. It kept the ground underneath somewhat drier, and thus was completely dry by Saturday. The service was awesome - the staff always provided prompt answers to my many questions over 6 months, and had great flexibility near the end with my additions and subtractions. The tent we got from McCarthy's was a big beautiful double poled white tent that immediately brought a festive look to the yard. A crew came, led (I think) by Adam Bentivegna; they were responsible and responsive and a pleasure to work with. LIghts on the tent added a welcome touch. I also got the 12' x 12' dance floor which for my party was a little small (around 80 people) but aside from that, everything went smoothly with getting the tent up and down and I would gladly return as a customer again.read more

The day has not quite arrived yet. So far the service has been very pleasant and efficient. But they can not pinpoint a 4 hour window when they may arrive to set up. To just say they will call you 30 minutes prior is not helpful. When you are planning a large party, that's not exactly a timetable that works. I would think by the day before, you could pinpoint either morning or afternoon for a delivery schedule.read more

Jeff and the McCarthy team come through for me every.single.time. I'm a wedding planner based in Chicago, but I am from Rochester and had my wedding in Ithaca, NY 4 years ago. I met them through a friend at the time, and they were absolutely spectacular in the planning process -- meeting me at my (very) detailed level to help plan a large tent wedding in Ithaca. We booked McCarthy's to set up for both, our Wedding & Reception. They were willing to set up our tents 3-4 days in advance, which allowed our wedding planners more time to design the spaces. Furthermore, they ran out of pile wood, which was our choice of flooring for our Wedding; however, they upgraded the flooring to Grey Pickle wood, which is significantly more expensive, without extra charge. The wedding was spectacular! All went well, starting with the weather. McCarthy's wonderful crew set up the tents in the POURING RAIN 2 days in advance. It kept the ground underneath somewhat drier, and thus was completely dry by Saturday. The service was awesome - the staff always provided prompt answers to my many questions over 6 months, and had great flexibility near the end with my additions and subtractions. The tent we got from McCarthy's was a big beautiful double poled white tent that immediately brought a festive look to the yard. A crew came, led (I think) by Adam Bentivegna; they were responsible and responsive and a pleasure to work with. LIghts on the tent added a welcome touch. I also got the 12' x 12' dance floor which for my party was a little small (around 80 people) but aside from that, everything went smoothly with getting the tent up and down and I would gladly return as a customer again.read more

The day has not quite arrived yet. So far the service has been very pleasant and efficient. But they can not pinpoint a 4 hour window when they may arrive to set up. To just say they will call you 30 minutes prior is not helpful. When you are planning a large party, that's not exactly a timetable that works. I would think by the day before, you could pinpoint either morning or afternoon for a delivery schedule.read more
